About Ramsey Education

We exist to empower students to make decisions from a place of knowledge, confidence and hope.

At Ramsey Education, personal finance and economics is what we do. As part of Ramsey Solutions, a leading personal finance company, we've spent over 25 years helping students win with money. It all started when our founder and financial expert, Dave Ramsey, kept hearing from radio callers: “I wish I’d learned this in high school!” That inspired us to launch Ramsey Education and develop our very own curriculum for students.

Since then, our Foundations in Personal Finance curriculum has been adopted several times in multiple states. Taught in more than 50% of public and private high schools across the U.S., it's impacted more than 7 million students.

Our Mission

Too many students enter adulthood with debt and stress. At Ramsey Education, we’re committed to equipping high school students with the knowledge and decision-making skills they need to succeed so they’re prepared for life after graduation. That’s why our personal finance curriculum teaches practical, time-tested concepts—such as budgeting, saving, avoiding unnecessary debt, and giving—to help students gain confidence in their financial future.

Our Methodology

Our curricula were built by teachers, for teachers—to best engage, educate and equip students. They’re rooted in research-based methodologies and provide real-world application, behavioral principles, and active-learning strategies designed to go beyond teaching financial and economic terms. They’re delivered in print and digital formats, adhere to WCAG accessibility standards, and are housed within a learning management system (LMS) for seamless integration into diverse learning environments that give teachers the flexibility they need.

Our Approach

Foundations in Personal Finance and Foundations in Economics are standards-aligned and meet constitutional guidelines. So, while our company is biblically-based, our curricula were designed for all students and incorporate wisdom from a range of sources—including historical leaders, financial experts and classical texts—ensuring they're objective, free from proselytizing religious doctrine, and suitable for public education. Learn more about our approach.

Bottom line? We help students build real-world money skills and economic understanding—so they’re prepared for whatever comes next. If you have any questions about our curricula, we’d love to chat and invite educators to review our materials firsthand!
