Say all the right things.

You’re walking the walk as a RamseyTrusted pro––now it’s time to talk the talk. When all our pros are using the same language, the brand becomes clearer for the people you’re serving.

What to Call Yourself

Thumbs Up

Yep

  • RamseyTrusted pro (Accurate, clear and concise.)
  • RamseyTrusted real estate agent (To be specific.)

  • RamseyTrusted real estate pro (See above. You can drop the ‘agent’ and just say pro. Your choice.)

  • RamseyTrusted agent (See above. This also works if you want to be concise while staying industry-specific.)
  • RamseyTrusted insurance pro (If you want to get specific.)

  • RamseyTrusted tax pro (See above.)

  • RamseyTrusted CPA (See above. You’ve earned that title, you can claim it.)
Thumbs Down

Nope (and the reasons why not)

• Ramsey ELP (Help us turn the volume down on ELP.)
• Endorsed Local Provider (See above.)
• Dave RamseyTrusted Pro (Dave is the O.G., but the business is called Ramsey Solutions, not Dave Ramsey Solutions.)
• RamseyTrusted Realtor (you can be both, but you can't say them together because lawyers.)
• Dave Ramsey’s real estate agent (C'mon––that's not true.)
• Ramsey Solutions team member––or anything that implies you are (You are definitely an extension of our brand and team––but not quite an official team member.)

Example Phrases

Use These Phrases

  • I’m RamseyTrusted
  • I have been RamseyTrusted for # years
  • I value serving over selling.
  • I have the heart of a teacher.
  • I consistently get stellar reviews from the Ramsey fans I work with.
  • I will stay beside you on your journey from start to finish.
  • I help people do things the Ramsey Way.
  • I’m completely in line with the Ramsey mission.
  • I provide top-notch service. Every time.
  • I work directly with the Ramsey team to make sure I’m meeting their high standards.

Do NOT Use These Phrases

  • I’m Ramsey Trusted. (It’s true––but if we don’t write it that way, neither should you. Keep it one word!)
  • I am an ELP (Help us turn the volume down on the ELP brand––use RamseyTrusted instead!)
  • I am an Endorsed Local Provider
  • I work for Dave Ramsey. (Not true.)
  • Dave and me are besties. (Probably not true, and bad grammar.)
  • I have the heart of a teacher. I keep it in a jar on my desk. (C’mon now, that’s just creepy.)
  • We are in Dave’s real estate program. (False.)
  • Dave is supporting my real estate business. (He’s not, directly. But he wants you to succeed and help others succeed.)
  • I’m on Dave’s team! (In a 'shared mission’ sense, sure. But also no.)

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Putting a space between Ramsey and Trusted. RamseyTrusted is one word. Why? Because, like cash, consistency is king. We’d like our pros to talk about the program the same way we do.

Say this instead:
RamseyTrusted. (This one’s easy, just lay off that space bar. Fun fact, Ramsey uses this CamelCase for a lot of other brands too! Think EveryDollar and EntreLeadership.)

Implying you’re on the Ramsey team or Dave’s team. This can be confusing when we reach out to referrals. You’re definitely an extension of our team, but you don’t make the commute to Ramsey HQ.

Say this instead:
Thanks for reaching out for an awesome agent to help you find a home! I'm a RamseyTrusted pro and I can't wait to meet you! When is a good time to chat?

Saying Dave Ramsey sent you their info. They don’t see Dave’s name on our site when they fill out the form, so let’s not confuse them. (Plus some people don’t know who he is . . . yet!)

Say this instead:

  • I got your info from the Ramsey team.
  • Ramsey gave me your info.
  • You went to the Ramsey site looking for tax help.
