So I’m using a different number than my cell phone? Why?

Yes! When you first open the app, you’ll be assigned a Ramsey number in the area code of your choice. When you message or call a fan, they’ll see this number on their phone.
As for the why, we can give you as close to a guarantee as you can get that spam filters won’t block your Ramsey number and cost you potential business.

What’s the deal with not getting marked as spam?

As a real estate agent, carriers look a little harder at your numbers since you’re making a lot of calls and texts that might go unanswered. So they might flag those as suspicious and mark your number as spam or blocked.
But we’ve partnered with data companies that work with the carrier to make sure that doesn’t happen and that you’re getting through to your Ramsey referral.

What happens if someone calls or messages me?

It’ll be sent to your Ramsey number and you can answer the call or message in the app.

Will I get lead notifications from the app?

For now, you’ll get the same text message you’re currently getting that’ll direct you to the app. But eventually those will be in-app notifications!

Are there read receipts on messages?

Nope, sorry! You’ll have to determine on your own if you got left on read.

Will referrals still go to my CRM?

Yes! The app won’t affect how your referral info flows to your CRM. But fair warning, this could change in the future.

Is this different from the Pro Portal?

Yes and no. You’ll have the features related to reaching out to referrals in the app like making first contact, text templates, notes and statuses. But you’ll still need to keep the Pro Portal handy for things like paying your fees, adding team members and updating your profile.
