NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Averaging more than 2 million downloads per week “The Dave Ramsey Show” was recently recognized by Time magazine as one of the Top 10 Podcasts on iTunes in 2015. “We are excited to see the development of a completely new audience in the digital space,” said Brian Mayfield, vice president of Ramsey Media. “Our roots are embedded in radio where we began, and our audience continues to grow. This recent success on the digital side allows us to introduce our show to the next generation of listeners.”

Largely due to the rapid growth of smart phones and other mobile devices, the percentage of Americans who have listened to a podcast in the past month has almost doubled since 2008, from 9 percent to 17 percent according to Edison research. And the numbers are expected to grow. 

Numerous publications, including iTunes Charts, Digital Trends and Stitcher, list “The Dave Ramsey Show” among the most frequently downloaded and streamed podcasts.
